Sanitary Pumps play a very important role in the production of food products, beverages, and pharmaceuticals. Specifically, Sanitary Drum pumps are used for small volume transfer of ingredients from 55 Gal. (200L) drums and Tote tanks.  Air-Operated Diaphragm (AODD) pumps are more commonly used as a process pump for transferring large volumes of product throughout the facility. Unlike their Industrial counterparts, Sanitary pumps are constructed with polished Stainless Steel, PTFE and food grade elastomers and are designed to be disassembled daily for cleaning. Standard Pump manufacturers both Centrifugal (low viscosity) and Progressive Cavity (high viscosity) Drum Pumps with an option of an air or electric motor.

For applications requiring precision dosing, Standard Pumps Batch Control Systems offer a turn-key solution. The integrated Batching Meter eliminates the need for buckets and scales as well as greatly reduce human error when accuracy is important. Once the system is calibrated, operators simply select the dose size and press ENTER.  The Sanitary Batch Control Systems are available with both air or electric motor options. Additionally, the Batch Controls Systems are 3A certified and FDA compliant.
